Founded in 1989 by William Pease Spindel, Westcoast Shutters of Florida, Inc. quickly established itself as the leading provider of quality manufactured and properly installed hurricane shutters for the Florida Westcoast market.. In 1998, Bill aquired Sarasota's oldest shutters company Window and Shutter Company which was originally established in 1972. In order to merge the two companies, the trade mark name WINDSHUTTERS was adopted.

Since then, WINDSHUTTERS  can be found throughout the continental USA as well as the Caribbean Islands. Our products have been installed on homes, businesses as well as Federal goverment facilities.
