What do you enjoy most about the area?
Natural Florida and pride to preserve our nature. I love the springs, mangroves and palm fawn woods.
What brought you to work for WINDSHUTTERS?
Life. It was a good fit being a new mother of 2. I held a career in professional photography and management for 15 years and although it was my true passion the travel and demands couldn’t fit with motherhood. I applied for admin on a whim- talked with Emily and walked in same day for an interview (with my then 11 mo girl) my baby girl got me the job
What is one thing that stands out to you in the WINDSHUTTERS team that you appreciate?
Authenticity. Family owned was the standout for me. Being from Ohio is important to me to work for a company with the same roots and ethics. Windshutters carries integrity not only in our product but within character as well. Windshutters make me feel right at home.
What is your favorite time of day?
Late evening. That is the time to myself to reflect on the day and prepare for the next.
However, I do love chasing the sunset with the kids and watching the sunset on the beach.
What is your greatest joy/excitement in life right now and why?
My children. They are 18 months apart, both in toddlerhood. It’s never a dull moment with us. ha-ha I love being able to see the world through their eyes. A humbling reminder to be present and enjoy the little things. Time doesn’t stand still so I try to soak it in as much as I can.
